Bruce David Stevens (a.k.a B.David) believes that God has gifted him to help others reach their artistic potential to create God encounters, through the expression of their gifts, voice, and lifestyle. B.David grew up in church and started writing songs in college while working as a Music Director. After college, B.David moved to Atlanta, Georgia to become part of a growing ministry, Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church. As the Worship/Creative Arts Director and head worshiper leader, B.David helped to create dynamic environments where people could experience God for over 6000 attendees per week. David also served as an Executive and Global Creative Pastor at Lifepoint Church in Tampa Florida, a church of 5 campuses with 2500 in attendance.
B.David is an accomplished artist and songwriter producing several solo and group albums and performing not only in the United States but also France, Poland, Rwanda, Egypt, Bermuda, and South Africa. B.David was ordained into the ministry in 2007 and holds a Master of Arts in Religion w/ a concentration in Worship Studies from Liberty University. B.David enjoys working with progressive churches, non-profits and individuals that value authenticity, quality, creativity, and diversity. Because of this, he created a company called B.David Stevens Consulting, which exists to help create environments that cultivate encounters with God. B.David also specializes in diverse worship experiences by intentionally looking at content to see how an organization can reach as many people as possible. “Diversity in worship is more than just having different races participate from the stage, its also intentionally reviewing content, introducing new styles, and seeing how these can work together seamlessly without alienating the core audience”, says B.David.
To add to his experience coaching churches and non-profits, B.David also works for renown vocal coach and Grammy nominated producer, Jan Smith, at Jan Smith Studios as a Stage and Performance Coach for aspiring singers and artists.
David has been married for 16 years to his beautiful wife Debbie and they have 3 children: Madison Renay, Dylan-Nicole Riley, and Jude David.
